Our “website” is dedicated to our customers and has been designed to be easy to use and pleasing to the eye. There are however conditions of its use. Contents, photographs and designs may not be downloaded, copied, reproduced, displayed, distributed, published, posted, saved or transmitted in any form, without the express or implied written permission of Cool Sun Outdoors.

You may save the website in an Internet browser “favourites” folder or print off pages, or save the contents of the site for use by an individual, but not for third parties. The individual use of saved contents is strictly limited for the use of future sales. Saved contents may be given to a third party if it would benefit or result in a sale of goods to Cool Sun Outdoors. Any copied items of “content” from our “site” may only be copied once.

DATA PROTECTION AND HUMAN RIGHTS

Cool Sun Outdoors have a clear understanding about the laws relating to Data Protection and Privacy. The Human Rights Act of 1998 came into force in October 2000. Cool Sun Outdoors respects the rights of individuals, especially in relation to Article 8 the right to a private life. Cool Sun Outdoors cant be responsible for any injury, accident or occurrence caused by the use of our “website”, purchased clothing or equipment, or when an individual chooses to use or obtain “products” from another party, company, business or organisation, advertised or appearing on the Cool Sun Outdoors “website”.

THE SALE OF KNIVES

It is an offence for any person under the age of 16 years to purchase most kinds of knives. We shall only supply knives and related products to customers over the age of 16 years. The sale of knives is regulated by Laws and subject to our terms and conditions of sale.

We reserve the right to refuse the sale of knives (and other products), if we have reasonable grounds to suspect, that the prospective customer may infringe the Law or present an unacceptable potential risk to the safety of others.

Our main goal is to promote the safe use of water sports and for this reason; we always take steps to ensure that our training and products are promoted in a responsible manner.

SPECIALIST SALES

Cool Sun Outdoors will sell direct to the Military, Police, Marine agency or other Government agency. You are advised to provide a contact E-mail, telephone number and position within the organisation, either via fax, E-mail or telephone. We will then contact you to discuss your requirements. Note our terms of sale are 30 days net from point of delivery, not including any product back ordered, the total cost for the complete order is then due.

Cool Sun Outdoors when dealing with such organisations/agencies will endeavour to offer as much discount as possible in order to obtain such business.

INDIVIDUALS FROM MILITARY RNLI, RYA OR POLICE

Sales of such equipment to individuals will only be made when Cool Sun Outdoors receive a fax copy of your ID. All information will be received in strictest confidence.

HOW TO ORDER

All orders placed with Cool Sun Outdoors can be placed through the website. We accept payment made with VISA, AMEX, Mastercard, SWITCH or DELTA only. We do not accept cheques, cash or postal orders (except in relation to specialist sales, when a cheque is acceptable). Your card will be debited when you confirm your order through the secure link to PayPal.

REMEMBER CARD FRAUD IS ILLEGAL AND WE WILL SUPPORT ANY PROSECUTION CASE

Any delivery charge applicable will also be added except if stated free postage. When entering your credit card details, take care to do it correctly. Please make a note of your order number or print off your order confirmation. Please use the shopping basket ordering system and do not E-mail any order to Cool Sun Outdoors E-mail addresses.

EXCHANGE, CREDITS, REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Goods returned to Cool Sun Outdoors will be exchanged with a full refund (including delivery charge), if the received goods are faulty or the wrong item despatched.

Ordered goods despatched as requested may be returned for a refund under the following conditions:

• The goods must be returned within 28 days of delivery, in pristine condition. The original packaging and labelling must be intact accompanied by the original delivery note.

• Any return delivery charge will be paid for by the customer and no refund of original delivery charge will be given. We suggest you use Royal Mail “Proof of Posting” service. Your parcel will not be delivered to us if no postage is paid for and we will not therefore guarantee a refund. Allow up to 3 weeks for administration and the postal return system. For expensive items, please use the Royal Mail “compensation fee” parcel service.

• Cool Sun Outdoors will pay the delivery charge for replacement goods if originals were faulty or the wrong item despatched.

DELIVERY ADDRESS

You can choose to give a different delivery address to that of the cardholder. You can send it to your place of work for example, or when buying gifts. Try to give an address where someone will be present for a signature.

If no one is at the delivery address to accept an order and provide signature, normal practice is for the postal services to leave a calling card. The card will provide a telephone number for you to ring, to arrange delivery at another time. Please do not contact Cool Sun Outdoors to arrange a delivery, as this is totally beyond our control.

DELIVERY

Cool Sun Outdoors use Royal Mail to deliver your goods, but may use another reputable delivery agent. Note we only deliver in the UK and UK Islands that Royal Mail deliver to.

GROUP OR BULK SALES

Outdoor clubs, associations, schools or other bodies are advised to contact Cool Sun Outdoors to receive favourable discounts, where possible.

CONCLUSION

The staff at Cool Sun Outdoors can be busy at times advising customers, training or processing orders. If you cant reach us on the telephone, please either leave a message on the answer phone, send a fax or an E-mail enquiry. Cool Sun Outdoors will deal with your enquiry as expeditiously as possible. E-mail is best for us.

There may be times when the staff of Cool Sun Outdoors are all away on field trips or testing equipment, however this will be rare. Whenever such occasions arise, we will process your order expeditiously on our return.Sometimes we may be on holiday (as we are a family business), but we may switch off the web-site during such times, to avoid customers placing orders and wondering what is happening with their goods.
